The already doctor Melitón Guevara Castillo, directed by the dean of the Faculty of Sciences of Communication and member of Novos Media, Miguel Túñez, defended his thesis with total reliability obtaining the maximum qualification (Cum Laude).
Melitón Guevara is the first one of the students of the PhD program USC-UNIVERSIDAD of Tamapulipas (Mexico) that defends his thesis. The work, titled “political Information and public opinion in press: actors, polyphony and strategies in construction of agenda” is directed by professor Miguel Túñez López

Mariano Cebrián Herreros has just published (La radio en Internet. De la ciberradio a las redes sociales y la radio móvil. Buenos Aires: La Crujía. 2008 / ISBN: 978-987-601-063-4) a book that reveals how the traditional radio has joined to Internet and has woven about his communicative own system a network of the new tools that qualify it an important hollow to be done in the universe of the interactive communication.
In the first part of the book, Cebrián Herreros examines in detail how the radio has turned into online radio into the Internet bosom. The author places to the new radio in the set of the online media penetrating into the communicative model who proposes, giving special attention to the contributions that it does to the interactive communication (sonorous expressiveness, genres, programming, fragmentations …).
The second part of the text is dedicated to treating in sole right the extensions that are born and take form from the online radio as the web 2.0 sonorous, the social networks of audio, the syndication and audio exchange using RSS systems and networks P2P, the podcasting, the audioblogs and the mobile radio.
Mariano Cebrián Herreros’s book is a pioneering and original research on the radio in Internet that studies in a global way the evolution of the traditional media way up to his incorporation in the online world.
