The Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona opened the registration period for the 4 th edition of the International Master in Design and Management of Audiovisual Production target to graduate with an interest in field of production both in film, television or multimedia

In its fourth year of the Master seeks again to publicize the production models that address the needs of the market and are projected from new audiovisual trade or alternative spaces.
The Master is aimed at professionals in the field of audiovisual communication and multimedia production companies interested in managing its resources efficiently and update their knowledge.

The meeting will be the 9 of May in the Facultad de Ciencias de la Información of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.The Unión Latina de Economía Política de la Información, la Comunicación y la Cultura (ULEPICC-Spain) organize the 1ª Day Nacinonal de Doctorandos with the thematic of the “methodologic problems of the communication” like esence. The encounter is a recommendable appointment for all those investigators who are making their Doctoral Thesis. The World Newspaper Congress, that will be in Sweden next June (from 1 to 4), is seen as a “total” newspaper event bringing together over 1,500 publishers, chief executives, managing directors - and the most ambitious managers from all levels of the industry, from at least 110 countries.

At the same time, 15° World Editors Forum will be celebrated. Integration will be the Forum’s key word. Many newspapers have already begun the process of integrating print and online. Others consider that two separate newsrooms is still better. The 2008 Forum will help editors-in-chief to choose the formula that fits.
For that reason, the Forum of 2008 will help the directors to choose the most suitable formula.

In addition, the conference will also examine questions as newsroom design, new media training, user-generated content, mobile news, trends in hyper-local information and ethical dilemmas.
